10 Things God will not ask you at the Judgment

1). Did you do your best?

2). Did you try being a good person?

3). Did you obey my Commands?

4). Did you love?

5). Did you Trust my Son Jesus?

6). Did you go to Church?

7). Did you read your Bible?

8). Did you get Baptized?

9). Did you pray?

10). Did you do a kind deed everyday?

If you notice each of these questions started with; “did you” ……which indicates works as part of Salvation. Make no mistake about the Truth, God knows those who are His and everyone who Names the Name of Christ Depart from Iniquity! So many teach people need to do this or do that to be accepted by God. On the other hand, God says, Done, Done, Done when it comes to Salvation! You see God is Holy and will never “tolerate” sin. So because He doesn’t want anyone to Perish He satisfied His own Righteousness by Crucifying Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son! Salvation is DONE! Jesus Paid for your salvation by taking your sins upon His Body and was nailed to a Tree. When You Turn and Trust He died and was Raised from the Dead, Bang, your saved! Jesus will then speak for you at the Judgment. In fact He already has judged you and declared you Forgiven! Walk in the Freedom of Righteousness! God’s Grace empowers us to Live a Holy life!!1462886_10201747966612920_1267519743_n

Matthew 5:17 ¶ “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”

What does Jesus mean? Simply He IS the fulfillment of the all that is written about Him in the Old Testament. Jesus is NOT referring to the 10 Commandments being destroyed as we will see in the context of the following 3 verses.

Matthew 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Ok, what does this verse mean? The Law, 10 Commandments, will never pass away. Because God is Eternal and they are a representation of His Holy character! The Law was added to show people their need of Mercy and Redemption! Without the Law people would not know what sin represents, rebellion against a Holy God! Also we know that Heaven and Earth will NEVER pass away or be Annihilated completely! So it is not possible for the Law to be destroyed. Again the Law shows us how crooked we are and Grace comes and straitens us out! The Gospel is powerless without the Law. People do not see their need of the Gospel without the Law!

Matthew 5:19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Simply put, Jesus DID NOT die on a cross so we can remain is our sins. Which by the way is breaking the Law of God! Jesus, the Prophets, Paul the Apostle, John, Peter……all taught the Value of teaching and preaching the Law. Not to give people the impression that they can work their way to Heaven but to show their NEED of Grace, which is Jesus Christ Crucified and Resurrected from the Dead! I do not want to be standing before Jesus and He say to me; “William, why didn’t you show people their need of me by the Law that I Established for that purpose.” No way do I want that. Also notice Jesus said they would both be in Heaven but it is more Glorious to God for us to Use all His Word! So many want to disregard the use of the Law. So sad. After the God Gave the 10 Commandments theses verses are written and confirmed in New Testament as well. Exodus 20:18 ¶ “And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.” Let us be called Great in the Kingdom of God by leading people to the Fullness of Holiness which will bring Glory to the Lord!

Matthew 5:20 “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

The righteousness of the scribes and pharisees were based on self exaltation. They lacked Humility which is a Requirement for receiving the Righteousness of Christ on our record. What I mean by this is simple; Jesus said, “whoever exalts himself shall be humbled but whoever Humbles themselves shall be exalted.” This is what the pharisees and scribes were missing. Humility is Agreement with God. Can anyone be saved without agreeing with God that you have sinned and need Jesus? NOPE. Our Righteousness is Found Only in Christ Jesus through Faith!

We know God is Love…..Agape’….. We should never want anything but Agape’….. We should never want the worlds version of Love. Why? Because the worlds version of Love is nasty, disgusting and Vain! The world views love through the flesh only and cannot see past its own self-centered, self-seeking, self-gratifying, seductive mind! But True Love is defined in the Bible and is the Kind of Love that can Only be achieved through Jesus Christ! His kind of Love is Pure, Holy and Righteous! Our hearts should yearn for Jesus kind of Love! Seek His Love O my soul! Should always be our prayer! The Bible teaches us to Draw near to God and He will Draw near to us. Well drawing near to our Father is up to us. Seek God with a Pure heart (not perfect) and we shall find that our Heart’s need to be Stretched out in order to receive more Agape’…Holiness and Purity…..This we know is Agape’ Love as expressed by Jesus Christ! His Crucifixion and Resurrection!

When Jesus Called me to Minister to the Souls of men it shook me to the Core of my being. I had to get to the place where I was willing to die for the ones He lead me to Minister too. Why? Because Jesus died for them! If Jesus Loves them enough to die for them then I must think highly of their souls worth! This Holy and Pure Love we seek within our hearts can only be explained by Holy Scriptures.

In a World that is lost and does NOT know the meaning of Love there comes the Mighty EXPRESSION of True Love through the Manifest Word of God, Jesus Christ! The following is God’s kind of Love:

1Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

Doesn’t matter how eloquently you can speak one or more languages! What matters is the motive behind the words. If not spoken in Love then you are only making noise and wagging your tongue!

2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

You are nothing if you know all knowledge and can speak with enthusiasm if you don’t have true love! You are nothing even if you have a strong faith without Love! Love is more Vast than the Universe. The Universe cannot even Contain Agape’ Love because God is Love and He contains the Universe. Do we want that kind of Love? Do we want our hearts Stretched with His Love?

3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

So verse 3 really speaks volumes about true love. Why? If we give away all we have or even die a brutal death by burning at the stake and don’t posses love we have gotten no where! Because Love expects nothing in return!

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Love is patient, are we patient in His Eternal Purpose? Is longsuffering a desire we have? The Lord Jesus “suffered long” for us and we should also seek His patience! Without patience it is not true Love! We must be patient on the Lord of all love and with others we cherish! Not a single person reading this has arrived at perfection! We are all under construction by God’s law of Love!

Love is kind. The Greek definition of kindness is simply; to show oneself useful, i.e. act benevolently. So, if we are seeking Agape’ Love we MUST show ourselves useful to others. God always acts in our benefit! He always wants the best for His children. If we want to experience this type of love we must treat others as God treats us!

Love does not envy (desire or be jealous over). If we seek Agape’ Love it cannot be envious! If it is, then it is of the flesh and is not Agape’! So many think they are in love with someone yet they are envious of others in theirs lives. For example; Many seeking marriage oftentimes highjack their significant other by being envious over people they loved in the past or even present. This is not true Love at all! We must not be envious. Love them for who they are, not who they were!

Love does not boast (meaning to Brag). Why? What is there to brag? If you think more highly of yourself than you ought to think, then you do not know what love is to begin with! God gave us the example through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ! If there is something to boast, then boast in what the Lord has done!

Love is not proud. (Puffed up). The opposite of pride is humility! Love is Humble! Always agrees with God! Always submits! Are we seeking True Love? Then Humble your-Self! Again Jesus is our example. He was always submissive to His Fathers Will. So should we! Jesus humbled Himself to come to this corrupt World and then humbled himself even more when He went to the Cross of Calvary to Purge your sins and mine from our record! Love is NEVER proud but is ALWAYS humble!

5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love is not rude. In other words love never acts unseemly, not proper or appropriate Are we rude? Then we are not in Agape’! Why would you be rude to the one you love?

Love is not self-seeking. Are we seeking self gratification? Then we are not in Love! So many get confused about love especially when it comes to sexuality. Love never seeks fulfillment when both parties are not participating in the God given act of marital intimacy!

Love is not easily angered. Do we find ourselves becoming angry with God? Angry with our spouse? Then we are not in love with God or our spouse! Notice it says “easily angered.” Here is the Greek definition; to sharpen alongside, i.e. (figuratively) to exasperate:–easily provoke, stir. If we are easily provoked then we may be self-seeking and not in love! Self examination is a must to figure out why you get angry.

Love does not hold record of wrongdoings! God never keeps a record of our sins! He washes them away in Jesus’ Blood! He remembers our sins no more! So if we seek Agape’ Love we need not to remember our sins or our spouses! Otherwise we may use their wrongs against them if we are easily angered! This is NOT Love! Remember, Jesus forgave us and we must also forgive others!

6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails……

Love we seek never delights in evil but always Rejoices in the Truth. If we every find ourselves in sin, let us repent and rejoice in True Love that washed them away! Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Because Agape’ Love never fails!

Do we seek Love? Agape’ Love? If not, we need to Repent!! Because True Love is the only thing that will satisfy your longing soul. There is not enough money, sex, drugs or anything else this world has to offer that can fill your heart! God wants to fill you up with His Love. Let Him! Turn to Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son of the Living God! Believe that Jesus was Crucified for you and He was Resurrected from the Dead! That is the what Agape’ Love did for you! Believe it and be Satisfied!

Now apply that to you and your relationships and see what happens!
